A shocking incident took place in Meghalaya where a husband who had gone on honeymoon was murdered by his wife. Sonam and Raja Raghuvanshi have been in the news for the past several days. While this incident is being discussed across the country, Raja Raghuvanshi’s brother has now made a big demand to the police.
The elder brother of the murdered Raja Raghuvanshi, a transport businessman from Indore, made a big demand on Friday. He has demanded that the two main accused – Sonam and Raj Kushwaha – be subjected to a narco test to reveal the full truth of this murder. Five people, including Raja Raghuvanshi's wife Sonam (25) and her alleged lover Raj Kushwaha (20), have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of Raja Raghuvanshi (29).
Sonam is accused of killing her husband with the help of Kushwaha and his three friends. All five accused in the murder case, which has become the centre of discussion in the country, are currently in the custody of the Meghalaya Police, and their interrogation is being conducted to find links to the incident.
“We want the Meghalaya Police to conduct a narco test of Sonam and Kushwaha so that the whole truth behind my brother's murder comes out,” Raja Raghuvanshi's elder brother, Sachin Raghuvanshi, told PTI in Indore. Sachin stated that, based on the reports received by the Meghalaya Police regarding the interrogation of Sonam and Kushwaha, it appears that both are working in collusion and are misleading the investigators by claiming each other as the masterminds of the crime. He claimed that Sonam and Kushwaha could not have carried out the plot to kill his brother on their own. Sachin said that he thinks there are more people involved in the murder who are still beyond the reach of the Meghalaya police. The names of these people may also be revealed through the narco test of Sonam and Kushwaha.
Raja's family also suspects Sonam's family
Raja Raghuvanshi's brother demanded a thorough investigation into the murder and expressed suspicion that the woman's family, especially her mother, already knew about the alleged close relationship between Sonam and Kushwaha, but still, Sonam was forced to marry Raja under family pressure. He also demanded that the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case be tried in a fast-track court and those found guilty be sentenced to 'double life imprisonment'.
