Famous actor Akshay Kumar's mother Aruna Bhatia passed away due to a short illness. She was 77 years old. Akshay, who was moved by his mother's death, has expressed his feelings through social media.
Aruna Bhatia's condition deteriorated a few days ago and she was admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital. She died Wednesday morning. My mother was my origin. My mother's departure has shaken my roots and my existence. My mother quietly said goodbye to this world this morning. She has now left to visit my father in another world, said Akshay.
On Tuesday evening, Akshay had requested his fans to pray for the mother's recovery. He also thanked the fans for their affection for him and his family.
Aruna Bhatia was the filmmaker. She has produced films like Holiday, Naam Shabnam, Rustam.
