No relief to Raj Kundra; The court rejected the petition

The Mumbai High Court has rejected a petition claiming that the arrest made by the Mumbai police was illegal. Therefore, it has been decided that Raj Kundra will have to stay away for some more time.
Actress Shilpa Shetty's husband and businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Mumbai Police Crime Branch on charges of making obscene pictures, videos and distributing them through a mobile application.
A petition was filed in the High Court on behalf of Kundra seeking his immediate release as the action of Mumbai Police was illegal. After the hearing, the decision was on hold om 2nd August.
Justice While announcing the verdict on the petition today, Justice AS Gadkari has made it clear that Kundra will not be given any relief. The court's order that Kundra be remanded in custody by the Metropolitan Magistrate is legal and does not require any intervention, the court said in its judgment.
