Pune : After the grand success of 1st edition, COEP is back with a 2nd edition of Pune Startup Fest’20 on 15th and 16th February 2020. This fest is organised by College of Engineering Pune (COEP) and Bhau’s Entrepreneurship Cell. Pune Startup Fest is one of the biggest entrepreneurship fests in Pune. It is a startup exhibition that strives to give the budding entrepreneurs and startups a platform to show their brainchild to the investors, mentors and the general public. It is supported by Startup India, Skill India, MHRD’s Startup Cell, Polycab, Bank of Maharashtra and FinIQ.
This year Pune StartUp Fest’20 will have the theme ‘Discovering the Known Unknowns’. With this theme Pune StartUp Fest’20 will bring the city a platform where the startup world comes under one roof and a gives them a chance to discover every known unknown aspect of this startup world. Being under the patronage Pune Startup Fest’20 will have 130+ startups in the startup expo divided into 7 zones: Technical, student, social, agricultural, health and lifestyle co-working spaces and incubator zone and Innovation Zone. For the aspiring entrepreneurs with only an innovative idea with a patent or an IPR and are not yet a startup, Pune StartUp Fest’20 will have an Innovation zone. Such ideas will be exhibiting in the Innovation Zone.
This fest will host a great keynote lecture series by notable personalities like Mr. Bhushan Patil, the founder of Multiply ventures and former director of paytm mall and PayTm, Mr. Srinivas Chunduru, the founder of Vans group and senior advisor at OLA and Mr Pranav Bhanage, The CEO of Patronas Lubricants India and South Asia Region will be sharing their experience with the attendees as the keynote speakers.
Huge investment and mentorship opportunities will be provided to exhibiting startups by 100+ investors and mentors attending the fest. Two panel discussions, one startup Panel Discussion and one Investor panel discussion will be held in two days for giving the students as well as the startups a chance to discuss about entrepreneurship. The exhibiting startups will even get a chance to hire interns while the attending students get internships and a chance to work in a variety of fields. The students will get an amazing work experience of working in variety of domains like computer technology, business management, marketing and many more.
