Mumbai : Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut on Monday said Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's return to the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will not affect the INDIA alliance of opposition parties. He claimed that Congress was in favor of appointing Nitish Kumar as the convenor of the alliance of opposition parties. Sanjay Raut said that the way Nitish Kumar has left the opposition alliance is unfortunate.

'There will be no impact on the opposition alliance'
Sanjay Raut said, 'If anyone thinks that Nitish Kumar's departure will create a rift in the INDIA alliance, then it is not right. In fact, the organization will become stronger with the departure of such people. Sanjay Raut said that RJD's Tejashwi Yadav will strengthen the opposition alliance there. Nitish does not mean Bihar. The Shiv Sena leader said that Congress has no role in Nitish's exit from the opposition alliance.

'Congress wanted to make Nitish the coordinator of the alliance'

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh targeted Nitish Kumar in a press conference on Monday. Jairam Ramesh said that Nitish's departure will not make any difference to the opposition alliance. Talking to journalists in Kishanganj, Jairam Ramesh said that instead of 'Aaya Ram, Gaya Ram' it should be 'Aaya Kumar, Gaya Kumar'. Jairam Ramesh claimed that Nitish Kumar's betrayal is part of the Prime Minister's plan.
