Who is Sarathi's Director? Sarathi's management without 'Sarathi

Pune: Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Training, Research and Human Development Institute (Sarathi) is an autonomous institution of the government, and several important schemes are implemented through it. The managing director is responsible for accelerating these schemes. Currently, there are various allegations and counter-allegations about the functioning of this institution, and it has been operating without a director for the past one and a half months. This has led to a situation where it's difficult to say who is leading Sarathi.

On one hand, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is the guardian minister of this department and has announced that Sarathi will not face a fund shortage. However, in reality, all schemes have come to a standstill due to the absence of a director for the past one and a half months.

Students' Discontent

There is discontent among Sarathi's students. The domestic scholarship announcement has not been published yet, the list of eligible students for the foreign scholarship scheme in the current academic year has not been published, JEE/NEET coaching has not started, and police recruitment guidance classes have not begun. The implementation of several such schemes is stalled. There's also a question about who to approach for complaints.
