An enthusiastic and inspiring Induction Program was successfully conducted at Rajarshi Shahu College of Commerce and Science, Uruli Devachi, Pune, under the Jayawant Shikshan Prasarak Mandal (JSPM). The event was organized under the guidance of the institution's Founder Secretary Dr. Tanaji Sawant, Vice President Dr. Giriraj Sawant, Campus Director Dr. Vasant Bugde, and Associate Campus Director Dr. Kalbande.
The chief guest for the occasion was Pratap Nand, Security Specialist and Employee Manager at Fujitsu Consulting India. The program was presided over by Dr. Rajendra Kanfade, Associate Director, Quality Assurance Cell, JSPM.
The ceremony began with the traditional offering of a floral garland to the image of Goddess Saraswati. Principal Dr. Prashant Mane Deshmukh welcomed the students and provided insights into various academic and co-curricular initiatives undertaken by the college. High-performing students from the first-year merit list were felicitated during the event, and all newly admitted students were greeted with floral bouquets.
Mr. Pratap Nand addressed the students on the importance of the IT sector and encouraged the educational use of social media platforms. Dr. Kanfade guided students on how to effectively engage with academics, while Dr. Vasant Bugde also offered valuable insights and motivation.
Faculty members including Prof. Priya Medhekar, Prof. Shweta Kangle, Prof. Sarika Survase, Librarian Amol Takale, Geeta Kamble, and Mr. Prasad Belhe were present along with all newly admitted first-year students.
The program was compered by Prof. Shweta Kangle, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Priya Medhekar.
