The case of liquor scam basically does not exist. Delhi Chief Minister and National Coordinator of Aam Aadmi Party Arvind Kejriwal in a press conference alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is making allegations about it and the Central Investigation Agency is misleading the courts and filing cases in this regard.
The Central Investigation Department has summoned Kejriwal to its headquarters on 16th at 11 pm for questioning in the alleged liquor policy scam. Kejriwal told reporters that he will go to the CBI headquarters for questioning. Kejriwal also said that the day he spoke against corruption in the Delhi Assembly, he realized that he was next in line for the inquiry.
The Directorate of Enforcement and the Central Investigation Department have placed the blame for paying a bribe of Rs 100 crore in the liquor scam case. They could not find this amount despite conducting more than 400 raids. At this time, Kejriwal alleged that the investigation agencies have registered cases against the then Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia and other accused and arrested them by submitting false affidavits in the court.
Investigation agencies are arresting someone everyday in the name of investigating this case. Pressure is being put on them to name Sisodia and Kejriwal. Chandan Reddy was beaten till his eardrums were torn. We know that pressure is being continuously put on five people like Arun Pillay and Sameer Mahendra. Kejriwal also alleged that the elderly father and wife of one person were also questioned for no reason.
In this case, the investigating agencies alleged that Sisodia destroyed 14 of his mobile phones. However, AD says that four of them are with him, while one phone is with CBI. On the one hand, Sisodia claimed that he had destroyed the phones, then from where did five of them come to him, Kejriwal asked while talking to reporters. In fact, most of the 14 phones that the investigation agency claims to have destroyed are still being used by someone or the other. He also claimed that these phones do not belong to Sisodia.
The way Aam Aadmi Party is currently being targeted by central investigative agencies has never happened to any other party so far. However, people have high expectations about Aam Aadmi Party. Affinity is created. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to crush these expectations and attachments in the minds of common people. Kejriwal alleged that this is why the central investigation agencies are following the Aam Aadmi Party.
