Bavdhan / Wai / Satara : Renowned journalist Sushil Kumar Balkrishna Kamble (aged 44) has passed away due to a short illness. Sushil Kamble has been active in journalism for the last 25 years. He started journalism from the weekly Tambadi Mati, After working in the Dainik Aikya, Dainik Tarun Bharat, Kamble worked for 20 years as district correspondent in Dainik Punyanagari. Kamble's journalism flourished during the important incidents like Mandhardev Tragedy, Pratapgad Movement, Dr. Santosh Pol massacre. Presently he was working as Correspondent in Dainik Navrastra.

He contributed to the social sector through Journalist Association. He was closely associated with many social organizations. He is survived by his mother, wife, a daughter and a son. Former Sarpanch of Bhuinj Balkrishna Kamble was his father. Dr. Shekhar Kamble, Vice Chairman of Wai Urban Bank was his brother. Sushil Kamble was cremated at Siddhanath Wadi, Wai in the presence of dignitaries from the political, social, educational and cooperative sectors.
