Eknath Khadse appears in court in Bhosari plot misappropriation case; Interim bail to Khadse

Pune: NCP leader and former minister Eknath Khadse appeared in the Shivajinagar court today in the case filed in the Bhosari land embezzlement case. The court has granted him interim bail. The regular bail application will be heard on January 3, 2024.

A case has been registered against Eknath Khadse in Bhosari police station in Bhosari plot misappropriation case. The case is being investigated by Pune Anti-Corruption Department.

ACB has already filed a charge sheet against Khadse in Shivajinagar Special Court in this case. Since then, Khadse has been granted interim bail and protection from arrest. Meanwhile, Khadse had applied for regular land. On Wednesday, special judge P. P. Jadhav was going to be heard in the court. Khadse had come to the court for that.

The court fixed January 3, 2024 as the date for hearing Khadse's bail application. Also, they were protected from arrest till then, informed the officials of Anti-Corruption Department.
