Umbraj (Satara) / Representative : The cricket team of Sou Mangalatai Ramchandra Jagtap Women's College of Karad, Umbraj has qualified the district level zonal division held at Daulatrao Aher College of Engineering. is ready to join hands with other teams in the division. Umbrage girls have made a splash in the inter-varsity cricket tournament. A promising step has been started with a resounding success in the first attempt. The efforts of Sanjay Kamble and sports teacher Vaishali Khade have been highlighted on this occasion.

The girls' team from Umbraj, a women's college in Satara zone, which was held at Karad, has qualified. Out of the four qualified teams from Satara division, Umbraj girls' team has qualified for the inter-university competition to be held in Kolhapur after defeating the team of engineering college Karad and these matches will be held at Mahaveer College Kolhapur in January 2024. This will create a good sports platform for girls in rural areas as there will be an opportunity to get selected in the university team, district cricket team or Maharashtra Cricket Association competition in the future.
