IRCTC to launch first indigenous cruise liner

The first indigenous cruise liner service in the country is going to launch on behalf of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation. Starting from 18th September. This service can be availed from Mumbai to Goa, Kerala, Lakshadweep for water tourism. The IRCTC will also try to launch the service for a tour of Sri Lanka from next year. The cruise can be booked at www.irctctourism.com.

IRCTC has partnered with Cordelia Cruise to promote and market this cruise. The cruise service will be available on Mumbai-Goa-Mumbai, Mumbai-Diu-Mumbai, Mumbai-ATC-Mumbai, Mumbai-Lakshadweep-Mumbai routes. The cruise will have restaurant, swimming pool, pool, bar, open cinema, gymnasium, separate play area for children.

Corona restraint restrictions will be strictly adhered to on this cruise. All crew on the cruise have been fully vaccinated. Everyone is bound to follow the rules of social distance. The cruise will be sterilized every hour. IRCTC is currently in the process of entering into agreements with major cruise liners around the world. They will be able to make reservations for these cruises as soon as the Corona situation returns to normal.
