If you have the courage, dismiss the central government and hold elections with ballot paper!
Congress State President Nana Patole's response to the BJP
Mumbai : The Congress has posed a challenge to the Bharatiya Janata Party in response to their comments seeking re-election in the state by dismissing the Mahavikas Aaghadi government. If the BJP has the courage, then they should dismiss the central government and hold elections with ballot paper, said Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole.
Criticizing the BJP, Nana Patole further said that since the formation of the Mahavikas Aaghadi government in the state, the leaders of Bharatiya Janata Party have gone berserk. BJP made several attempts to overthrow this government for two consecutive years, even through the Raj Bhavan, but to no avail. They tried to use the central agencies like CBI, ED, IT , NCB to register false cases against MVA ministers and leaders. They also tried everything to defame the state, but despite these attempts the MVA government stood firm & tall which has led to many leaders being frustrated.
It is out of this frustration that comments regarding dismissal of the Mahavikas Aaghadi government are being made. But if BJP has the courage, then the central government should be dismissed and elections should be held with the ballot. If that is done, BJP will definitely lose.
Answering questions from reporters on the ST workers strike, Patole said that BJP is misleading the ST workers. The BJP itself had taken a stand against ST merger when it was in power and is now demanding the same and instigating the workers. Patole said the BJP's double standards have been exposed once again, while its government at the Centre is selling state-owned companies like LIC, public sector banks, BHEL to industrialists and here in Maharashtra it is demanding merger of ST with the state government. 000
