Congress has no right to talk about secularism: Captain Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh / News Agency

The Congress has no right to talk about secularism, said Capt Amarinder Singh, a former Punjab chief minister and recently quit Congress. He criticize that,   the Congress, which has joined hands with the pro-Hindu Shiv Sena in Maharashtra and imported hundreds of leaders and activists from the Bharatiya Janata Party and its parent organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, cannot speak the language of secularism.

The main focus of Captain Singh's criticism was on Harish Rawat, the Congress in-charge of Punjab. Captain Amarinder killed a secular man within himself, in the words that Rawat had criticized him for. Captain Singh has shown readiness to join hands with the BJP by announcing a new party. he is also trying to divide the Akali groups. Captain Singh responded to Rawat's remarks in this regard.

Harishji, stop talking about secularism. Navjyot Singh Sindhu, who had worked in the BJP for 14 years, was given shelter by the Congress. Nana Patole and Revannath Reddy are not affiliated with RSS? Pargat Singh was with Akalis for 4 years. What have you done with Shiv Sena in Maharashtra? Does joining hands with a racist party fit the principle of Congress? Isn't this political opportunism; Capt Amarinder's publicity chief Ravin Thukral tweeted this question.
