Bhor / Rupesh Jadhav : Shashikant Ghorpade, joint director of the marketing department, was missing since Wednesday. It was suspected that he committed suicide by jumping into the Nira river from the bridge at Sarola (Bhor). On Thursday (13th), the search for him in the Nira river started on a war footing. However, the body was not found till late at night. On Friday (14th), when the NDRF personnel came to search, Ghorpade's body was found near the river wall before entering the water.
As Ghorpade did not come home from the office till seven o'clock on Wednesday evening, when his family contacted the office, it was said that he had left the office at 3:30 in the afternoon. After this, his wife and brother called him and his phone was switched off. As the last location of the mobile phone was found near Sarola bridge near Shirwal, he lodged a complaint at Shirwal police station on Thursday morning. The search for the body started in the vessel. But the body was not found even after the whole day. When the NDRF personnel came to search again on Friday morning, they found the body of Shashikant Ghorpade near the wall before entering the water.
