Spontaneous response to Buddhist society meeting in Baramati
Baramati : People's Republican Party President Jogendra Kawade said that the non-party organized Buddhist Samaj Mela in Baramati is commendable, urging the workers to keep political ties aside to carry forward the Ambedkari movement.
On the occasion of the 66th Dhamma Chakra Transformation Day, a grand gathering of the Buddhist community was organized at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue Memorial in Baramati. On this occasion, Jogendra Kawade was honored with Jeevan Gaurav award on behalf of Buddhist understanding for his contribution to the Ambedkari movement. Kawade was speaking on this occasion. More than 15 thousand community members were present on this occasion. Also, the senior dignitaries of the society who contributed to the Ambedkar movement were honored with the Samajbhushan Award through the Buddhist Youth Association.
On this occasion, Jogendra Kawade said, I have seen many Dhamma Parishads; But this is the first time the Buddhist community is witnessing a Mahamela. Therefore, I attended this meeting without fail. The history of the biggest march from Nagpur to Aurangabad for the name change of Marathwada University as well as the history of sixteen years in the struggle for name change stood in front of my eyes through Kawade's speech. He congratulated the organization for successfully organizing the Buddhist Samaj Mela and wished them all the best for the future work.
Navnath Ballal said, we will soon start UPSC, MPSC study center through the organization so that maximum number of youths from the Buddhist community participate in competitive exams and prepare for UPSC, MPSC exams. Meanwhile, on this occasion Buddha Bhima Geet was concluded with enthusiasm by famous singer Kadubai Kharat and famous singer Meghanand Jadhav, Sankalp Gole.
The Maha Mela of the Buddhist community was organized by Navnath Ballal, former deputy president of Baramati Nagar Parishad, Sachin Sable, BJP's scheduled caste region member, Amol Waghmare, Nilesh More, MNS district president and Vinod Jawle, Ajit Kamble, Nitin Shelar, former president of Baramati City Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Akshay Shelar, Ganpat Shinde, Kishore Sonawane, Sushant Jagtap, Prof. Milind Kamble, Devidas Gaikwad, Nana Londhe, Jawaharlal Sonawane, Deva Kamble, Sagar Gaikwad, Dheeraj Bhosle, Srinath Shelar Mayur Zende Shankar Sonawane, Siddharth Sonawane, Sagar Shilamwat, organized the gathering.
