Managing Director of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Dr. Anilkumar Gaikwad has made an important contribution. Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Shivaji Rao Adha Rao Patil said that many challenging works of road development during Gaikwad's tenure will always be remembered by the public along with the government officials.
On behalf of the Jadhavwadi villagers of Ambegaon taluka from Pune District, Dr. Anil Kumar Gaikwad was recently given a civil honor for his appointment as the Managing Director of the MSRDC.

Addressing the crowd present on this occasion, Shiv Sena Deputy Leader Athar Rao Patil said, Dr. Anil Kumar Gaikwad has initiated many important projects in the state while serving the government for the past 43 years. Dr. Gaikwad has made a valuable contribution in creating the Mumbai-Nagpur Samruddhi Highway which is important in the country. He has also made a significant contribution in the construction of Maharashtra Sadan in New Delhi. During his tenure, important and difficult projects such as Ring Road in Pune and Missing Link Road on Mumbai-Pune highway are in progress through MSRDC. On this occasion, Patil expressed the belief that under the guidance of Gaikwad, it will be completed in time.
Adharao Patil further said that quality honesty and punctuality are Dr. Anilkumar Gaikwad's trinity of success and with the help of his sharp intellect, he completed many important projects in the state. The appointment of Anil Kumar Gaikwad as the manager of the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation is meaningful and he expressed the belief that he will do justice to that position honestly and truly.
Responding to the felicitation, Dr. Anil Kumar Gaikwad said that it is a matter of great fortune for me to be honored as a citizen in a rural area like Jadhavwadi. While doing government work, I had to face many hurdles, but I am proud that difficult and important projects have been completed during my tenure, keeping in mind the objective of doing honest work for the government. He further said that a person who is driven by a goal does not succeed anywhere. A person who journeys through adversity to success is a guide for all. Dr. Gaikwad expressed his firm opinion that a person who has come from adverse circumstances with determination and right values can overcome challenges.
On the occasion of the program, MLA Atul Benke, former Dilip Valse Patil, former chairman of Pune District Construction Committee Mangaldas Bandal, senior journalist Vishal Pardeshi, D.K.
