Excise Policy Case: K. Kavita's petition in Supreme Court, challenging her arrest in Delhi liquor scam case

Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter K. Kavita has approached the Supreme Court. He has filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding his arrest in the Delhi liquor scam.

ED has arrested K Kavita
BRS MLC and former Telangana CM K Chandrashekhar Rao's daughter K Kavitha has been arrested by the ED on Friday. The ED on Friday raided the premises of K Kavitha in Hyderabad in connection with money laundering cases and later arrested her. K Kavita has been arrested in a case related to Delhi Excise Policy. ED claims that K Kavita was associated with the South lobby of businessmen in the Delhi Excise scam. Responding to the arrest of K Kavitha, BRS spokesperson described K Kavitha's arrest as politically motivated and claimed that BJP and Congress are in collusion with each other. ED arrested K Kavita from her Banjara Hills house in Hyderabad and produced her in Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court on Saturday.
