Indian Air Force 'air show' to be held on Dal Lake

In Kashmir, considered a paradise on earth, Dal lake is a major tourist attraction. On the 26th, there will be thrilling demonstrations of Indian Air Force MiG-21 and Sukhoi 30 fighter jets. The main objective of the initiative is to create curiosity among the youth of Kashmir to join the Indian Army and to encourage tourism, said Pandurang Pol, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.
Pol organized a meeting of head masters and principals of various schools and colleges in Kashmir as part of the '75 years of Independence' program to create attraction among Kashmiri students and youth about the Indian Army. The meeting also discussed the participation of students in the demonstrations of the Indian Air Force with the concept of 'Give Wings to Your Dreams'. About 3,000 students with 700 teachers from the division will participate in this program, he said
This event will give the youth the strength to give wings to their dreams. Stating that they would be interested in career opportunities in the Army, Air Force and Aviation, Pol appealed to the students, especially those of the National Cadet Core (NCC), to attend the event. The demonstrations at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Exhibition Center will provide detailed information on the Indian Army, Air Force, employment opportunities, recruitment rules and eligibility in various cells, Pol said.
