Karad, Correspondent : Krishna Vishwa University has created its own identity at the national level in the field of medicine and health. The various national-level rankings received by the university are ideal symbols for the quality education, research and healthcare of the university, said Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan.

He was speaking at the 13th convocation ceremony of Krishna Vishwa University in Karad (Malkapur). Chancellor Dr. Suresh Bhosale was present. The convocation ceremony was held in the premises of Krishna University. The chief guests were taken to the venue to the salute of the police band. On the dais, MLA Dr. Atulbaba Bhosale, Principal Advisor to the Chancellor Dr. Vedprakash Mishra, Vice Chancellor Dr. Neelam Mishra, Executive Board Member Shri. Vinayak Bhosale, Prof. Srinivas Balli, Dilip Patil, Controller of Examinations Dr. Jyotsna Patil, Registrar Dr. M. V. Ghorpade, Executive Director P. D. John and other dignitaries were present.

In this ceremony, 1062 students from various departments of the university were awarded degrees. Out of these, 30 students were awarded Ph.D. degrees by Chancellor Dr. Suresh Bhosale. While 25 students who excelled in various departments were honored with special medals by the chief dignitaries.

Speaking on the occasion through video conferencing, Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan addressing the students said, "You have crossed an important milestone in your educational journey today. I heartily congratulate your parents, teachers and mentors, because it is only because of their continuous support that this achievement has been possible. Serve the society with honesty, compassion and professionalism and if possible, learn a foreign language. Because it will be very useful for your career and worldview.

Speaking from the chair, Dr. Suresh Bhosale said, Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth has made a remarkable journey from a medical college to a self-sufficient university, creating its own identity as a leading educational institution in the country. In the coming years, new campuses of the university are being set up, where priority will be given to information technology, vocational education and skill-based courses. We are confident that the first batch of students will take admission in this new campus in the academic year 2027-28. Many students of Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth have done remarkably in medical examinations, and many have achieved success in postgraduate and superspecialty courses. At the same time, the university has a good placement record and students are getting opportunities in renowned hospitals, research institutes and health science institutes across the country. In line with the National Education Policy, the university is striving to promote multidisciplinary education. The university is also focusing on topics like environmental protection, national integration, democratic values ​​and responsibilities in public life.

Reviewing the progress of the university in the past years, Vice Chancellor Dr. Neelam Mishra said that the university has not only provided knowledge to the students; but also inspired value-based leadership. Also, the students have made the university famous by performing outstandingly in various fields.

Medical examination of 14 thousand women under community project

Krishna Vishwa Vidyapeeth has always been a pioneer in solving health problems, and various efforts are being made for cancer examination and treatment of thousands of women in rural areas, informed Chancellor Dr. Suresh Bhosale in his speech. He also said that medical examination of about 14,000 women was conducted under the university's community project.
