Monsoon Alert: After Maharashtra, ‘this’ state will get heavy rain; According to IMD’s alert
Monsoon has now covered the entire country. By June 26, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in states like Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, New Delhi, and Maharashtra. Monsoon has now covered North India as well.
The monsoon season has started in all states like Delhi, Ladakh, Leh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab. Now, the Indian Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in the capital, Delhi. It is expected to receive very heavy rain for the next one or two days. In 2013, the monsoon arrived in the capital, Delhi, on June 16.
Maharashtra warned of heavy rains for 48 hours.
The state has been witnessing heavy rains for the past few days. Western Maharashtra and the Konkan region have been battered by rains. Similarly, the Meteorological Department has now predicted heavy rains for Mumbai and its suburbs for the next 48 hours. The rains that had subsided in Mumbai and its suburbs for a few days have now started battering heavily once again. Therefore, heavy rains are being predicted for the next 2 days.
Especially in Ratnagiri, Raigad and Pune districts, the intensity of rain will be higher. Similarly, there will be heavy rain in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar. Therefore, citizens have been warned to be alert. Due to the increase in the temperature of the Bay of Bengal, evaporation is happening on a large scale.
A warning of heavy rain has also been issued for Western Maharashtra, Pune, Satara, Sangli and Kolhapur districts. An orange alert has been issued for districts in Konkan and citizens along the river banks.
