Thackeray group leader Vasant More has alleged corruption in the measures taken for the security of passengers at Pune railway station. A protest has been launched in Pune under the leadership of Vasant More regarding these allegations and Vasant More has targeted MP Muralidhar Mohol. “The central government has approved a fund of Rs 100 crore for the security of passengers. Despite this, in reality, no CCTV cameras or any concrete measures have been taken anywhere in the station area. Therefore, Vasant More has also raised the question of how exactly this fund was used, what exactly happened to that fund.
This allegation has raised questions on the railway administration and the relevant public representatives, and doubts are being expressed as to whether the system is really working for the security of passengers. Vasant More has raised many issues and claimed that there has been corruption in this. A budget of Rs 100 crore was given for the security system of Pune Railway Station. But in the last two years, no concrete measures have been taken for the security of the railway station. Vasant More has claimed this.

However, he does not feel the need to spend time at important places like Pune Railway Station,” More alleged. Also, the security system of Pune Railway Station has become completely ineffective. The equipment installed for security is broken, the CCTV system is off, and machines like metal detectors are not working.” He has also drawn attention to this.
“Mohol stands in the Lok Sabha and announces the construction of a new railway station at Devachi Urali. However, he remains silent about how the existing Pune Railway Station will be secured.” He has also made this remark. Notably, a fund of Rs 100 crore was approved for the security of Pune Railway Station. However, no information is given by the administration about how and where this fund was used. Therefore, Shiv Sena has accused this fund of corruption and More has demanded an explanation from the concerned officials.
