Pune: On the theme of “We Care”, Lila Poonawalla Foundation (LPF) has extended donations to the Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) Kirkee, Pune. Along with contributing to the Army Rehabilitation Hospital, LPF organized a special cultural program for differently abled War Heroes who were injured on the battlefield.Some of the soldiers War Heroes displayed their talent too and shared the same stage with LPF girls.
Medical Director of Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC)wasthe chief guestof the program.
Heappreciated the donation given by the LPF for the welfare of the residents of PRC and its noble work towards community. He said “Lila Poonawalla Foundation has been associated with us for the past two years. All the PRC residents look forward eagerly to meeting the LPF family and their programs.”
He assured that PRC would maintain a sustainable relationship with LPF in future.
In a welcome address, Mr. Poonawalla said, “Lila Poonawalla Foundation always thrives towards contributing to a meaningful social action. We are glad that we could contribute to the War Heroes of Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre. We would continue extending support to them in future.”
During this event,a visitwas organized tothe mouth painting studio of PRC, where beautiful mouth paintings painted by theWar Heroes were displayed.
