Pune News – Pune Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram received firm backing from several leaders and representatives of Ambedkarite political parties, social organizations, and former as well as current corporators during a recent meeting. The delegation expressed unwavering support for the commissioner’s administrative style and assured that the people of Pune stand solidly behind him.
This show of support comes in the wake of a recent incident where Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) officials reportedly stormed into an official meeting and created a commotion. Strongly condemning the act, the representatives called it disgraceful, stating that such unruly behavior in the name of public representation tarnishes the image of sincere and dedicated officials.
The delegation included Parasuram Wadekar (State Organizational Secretary, Republican Party of India – Athawale faction), former corporators Avinash Salve, Rohidas Gaikwad, Shailendra Chavan, Rahul Dambale, Asit Gangurde, Yuvraj Bansode, former Deputy Mayor Sunita Wadekar, as well as Himali Kamble, Nilesh Alhat, and other prominent leaders from the Ambedkarite movement.
