Second technical fault in Air India flight in 5 days: What is exactly going on?

Air India flight from Ahmedabad to London has now been cancelled due to a technical fault.

An unfortunate incident occurred in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, on June 12 when an Air India flight crashed. The AI 171 flight, carrying 242 passengers and crew, crashed into a medical college campus in Gujarat shortly after taking off from Ahmedabad airport. The Air India plane turned into a ball of fire in a few moments. 241 people, including 52 British citizens, died in the accident. One person survived the accident and is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, on June 17, the Ahmedabad-London flight cancellation was averted again. It is being reported that the Air India flight has suffered a technical fault for the second time since the accident.

The Boeing 788 was scheduled to take off at 1:10 pm. The incident took place on the same route where Air India flight AI 171 had crashed earlier. The airline has apologised for the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the technical snag.

Since most of the passengers had reached the airport to board the flight, the cancellation of the flight created panic among everyone. Speaking to a news agency, a passenger said, “I was going to London, but I just found out that the flight has been cancelled. The crew members have not shared any information about the cancellation of the flight, and we have no information about the refund."

Another passenger said they were only told that the flight had been cancelled. Now the flight will leave for London at 11:00 am tomorrow. This decision has increased the suffering of all the passengers.
