Malik has been blasting Wankhede and his family members in the past few days. Malik's father, late mother and sister were also not spared. Wankhede's father Dnyandev Wankhede has appealed to the Mumbai High Court against the allegations. The court passed the order during the hearing of the petition.
Malik's lawyer and Wankhede's lawyer got into a scuffle over Malik repeatedly calling Wankhede's sister 'Lady Don.' The term was first used by Fletcher Patel. My client just repeated it, Malik's lawyers said. However, the court warned that no allegations or remark against Wankhede family would not be entertained till the hearing of the petition.
As Nawab Malik is a minister, all kinds of documents are easily available to him. However, the court also ruled that Malik, who is a leader of the people, should not be slandered in this manner.
