Fighting between infiltrators and security forces has been going on for more than a week now, but there has also been an increase in attacks on civilians. In addition, thousands of migrant workers fleeing the Kashmir Valley in fear of terrorist threats. Thousands have taken refuge in shelters set up by security forces.

There are about three and a half lakh migrants in Kashmir. Most of them work in apple orchards, brick kilns and small and big businesses in Kashmir. Many of them have been living in Kashmir for more than a decade. However, terrorist activities have created a climate of fear among them. So they are trying to get out of Jammu and Kashmir. This is also having an effect on the industry and business in the region.

These migrant workers feel that their lives are in danger in this place. Many have no money as they are working as daily wages labor. At the same time, many are facing the situation of survival. The question they are facing is how to survive if the business halted due to terrorist activities. Some have even accused the landlord of not paying for their work. However, they said that in any case, we have no choice but to leave Jammu and Kashmir to save our lives.
