Rupali Rupesh Jadhav was elected unopposed as Sarpanch of Bazarwadi village

Rupali Rupesh Jadhav has been elected unopposed as Sarpanch of Bazarwadi (T. Bhor) Gram Panchayat in Veesgaon Valley on Monday (11). The present sarpanch of Bazarwadi village, Sita Mohan Gurav, had resigned from the post of sarpanch on completion of two years' tenure.

As the post of Sarpanch became vacant, the election process was carried out in the presence of the Election Returning Officer Sunil Dharmakamble as per the order of the Collector. Meanwhile, as the only application of Rupali Rupesh Jadhav for the post of Sarpanch was received, the election decision officer Dharmakamble announced that Rupali Rupesh Jadhav was elected as Sarpanch unopposed.


Late Sarpanch Sita Gurav, Deputy Sarpanch Uttam Khopde, Member Mohan Mankar, Village Sevak Ranjit Nanavare, Kotwal Usha Mankar, Gram Panchayat Employees Govind Khopde, Usha Mankar, Police Patil Arjun Shinde etc. were present during the election process.

Late Sarpanch Sita Gurav felicitated Rupali Jadhav for being elected as Sarpanch. After that, the village deity Kalbhairavanath temple was celebrated by throwing gulala. On this occasion, social workers Gorakh Mankar, Sanjay Mankar, Bhimrao Kamble, Mohan Gurav, Santosh Jadhav, Mangesh Khopde, Maruti Chavan, Anand Gaikwad, Sudam Raut, Baban Khopde, as well as Kavita Sapkal, Manisha Sapkal, Sitabai Kamble, Nandabai Kamble, Ranjana Kamble, Sunita Kamble, Rekha Yadav, Kalpana Yadav, Rekha Jadhav, Muktabai Jadhav, Varsha Gaikwad, Sindhutai Sapkal were present in large numbers.

On the occasion of felicitation, newly elected Sarpanch Rupali Jadhav came for the development of Bazarwadi village. He said that under the guidance of Sangram Thope, various schemes at the government level will be implemented efficiently with the cooperation of the members as well as the administration.
