Even if Chief Minister Kejriwal is arrested by ED, he will not resign as Chief Minister. If that is done, there is a possibility of defeat of BJP. Henceforth arresting the Chief Minister and imposing President's rule after he resigns due to constitutional embarrassment, is the only step that BJP can take. Moreover, according to the Representation of the People Act, there is no requirement to resign just by being accused. Atishi pointed out that it is necessary to prove the charges and to be punished for a specific period.
