Sevakund Foundation Celebrates Birthday with Visually Impaired Students
Mumbai | Ramesh Autade
In a heartfelt and humane gesture, Sevakund Trust—a social organization committed to supporting marginalized, orphaned, visually impaired, and differently-abled individuals—celebrated the birthday of its guiding pillar, Ayushyamati Jayshree Anilkumar Gaikwad, in a special way. The celebration took place in Thane and was dedicated to visually impaired students.
In this unique event that upheld the true values of humanity, visually impaired students from various parts of Maharashtra were gifted educational materials by Jayshree Tai herself. For many of these students, it was their first visit to Mumbai, which added excitement and joy to the occasion as they explored the city.
Marking this special celebration, Jayshree Tai Gaikwad was honored with the Mata Ramai Award by a Buddhist organization for her contributions to society.
The event was graced by several dignitaries including Dr. Anilkumar Gaikwad (Vice Chairman & Managing Director of MMRDA), actress Mansi Naik, former Latur MP and Supreme Court advocate Dr. Sunil Gaikwad, Sevakund Trust President Ashwajeet Gaikwad, Vice President Nandkishore Shahade, Secretary Abhijit Gaikwad, BJP leader Vishwajeet Gaikwad, entrepreneur Vijaykumar Gaikwad, and trustees of Sevakund—Sanjay Karnik, Atul Bhosale, Adv. Mahendra Dalalkar, Mahesh Chauhan, Anil Sonpatki, Pune Sevakund Head Rajesh Suryawanshi, Bharat Misal, Ramling Patsalge, and Rajkumar Patil—all of whom played vital roles in making the event a grand success.
