Veena Tai Gawde, who served as the liaison officer to three Chief Ministers, several Cabinet and State Ministers, Chief Secretaries, and numerous departmental Secretaries, recently celebrated her 75th Amrit Mahotsav birthday with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration was organized by her children, daughters-in-law, and close friends.
Recognized for her dedication and excellence, Veena Tai was also honored by the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations. Known for her promptness, reliability, and cordial rapport with the media, she earned immense respect as an ideal liaison officer.
Her Amrit Mahotsav celebration was made even more special by her cheerful yoga group from Nerul, Navi Mumbai, who performed a ceremonial aarti with 75 lamps in her honor. The women from the group also presented several cultural performances to mark the occasion.
The event was graced by her former colleagues and dignitaries including former Directors Devendra Bhujbal, Nitin Shinde, Jyoti Lijawala, among others.
